I hear you, I'm about 100 lbs over-weight and trying to cure my food adictions. What is more I'm starting over at aged 47, after my husband's suicide almost 3 years ago. To me 32 sounds so much better than 47. Don't be discouraged. I'm studying Natural Nutrition in the hope that answers lie there - and already they are coming in... there is so much I could tell you. Your life is just beginning, don't lose 15 years and get to 47 only to wish you had done things sooner. I'm not here to tell you what to do... as the most important thing we have in our life is our right to choose.
I am working on potential pathways for people in our situation, who know what they should do, but somehow can't seem to do it. I guess the answer is: no one ever succeeded on what they 'should do'. These 'shoulds' are no our own, so we fail to acknowledge them and act on them. They seem imposed on us, so like a child we rebel and quite rightly. What we need is to get in touch with who we really are, what we really want and be clear on that.
What do you believe about yourself? What limitations are you imposing on yourself?...
There are so many more questions you can ask yourself. You don't have to tell anyone just acknowledge your own answers and there you will find you.
You can do it!
What can I say that will encourage you?
