     If you want to get rid of any addiction that flouishes in boredom the best way to get a handle on it fast is to follow a strict schedule.  The schedule doesn't have to make you do anything out of the ordinary just keep yourself fairly busy until the addiction is not a major problem.  Set up your daliy activities avoiding long spans of time with nothing to do.  This way the food addiction gradually moves to the back of your mind and you don't want it as much as before.  Sticking to a schedule can also greatly improve time use in all activities.  If you adhere to a schedule strictly soon the food addiction will not be so powerful.
