Honestly I don't know just about how effective it is to leave it to God. I think, form my experience that if things don't go quite as you hoped, is just because you hoped. You forgot to expect and perhaps to believe. You can't leave it all to God. Whose life is it? God cares I'm sure, but he gave you freedom my friend. He wants no children to carry in his arms all life long. He wants children that can be independent and responsible. I understand that disappointment does not exist as such, it is just another thing that we refused to see as it was. When our eyes are open at last we are foolish enough to think that the way things really seemed to be are not. But how are they then? if other than what our eyes can show us? Well how do you want them to be? and do you dare? can you believe? and are you willing to understand that life is not good either bad? I believe in reflections, In the reflection of my being and how it takes shape as I go. Disappointment...It doesn't exist, even when you feel it inside. Can you turn around and decide that you will not feel it anymore? That if it makes you suffer you don't want it? Will you be willing to accept that it was not your neighbor, your lover, your pet? It was you. Always you. Don't feel bad, it's ok if you don't do right. But you're not your feelings, your thoughts or your heart. They reside inside you, that's all, you can trust them, but also deny them. You can accept then, but also perfect them, teach them. You are not your body, or mind. You are much more and you live in world of wonders even when the sky seems dark enough to take your shine away. Disappointment. It doesn't exist.
