Oprah's Home Edition & "The Secret" - the Law of Attraction

Just recently after Oprah featured two shows on "The Secret" she had a show where Nate remodeled a 250 square foot studio apartment; the show also featured a few other very tiny but beautiful homes, one as small as 96 square feet.  Martha, the owner of the 250 sq ft apartment had told Oprah and Nate how grateful she was for her tiny little home and how much she loved her location and community.  Oprah told her she had used the Law of Attraction by being grateful for what she had, to attract Nate into her life to redesign her home into a beautiful little palace!  Nate himself said that it was Martha's positive energy and attitude of gratitude that inspired him to put every ounce of his effort and talent into making her a wonderful home.  If Martha had been bitter and resentful about her tiny little home with no stove, most likely Oprah's crew would not have wanted to do this nice thing for her or use it in the show - so it was her attitude of gratitude and the Law of Attraction that allowed better things to flow into her life.  Martha also used the steps in "The Secret" to make her desire, to fix up her home, happen - she "asked", "believed" and "received".  That is, she contacted the Oprah show to ask that they fix up her place and explain why, she believed that she was blessed no matter what (grateful for her barely furnished little home), and she was open to "receiving" so that when the Oprah show said ok, it all moved forward to creating her wonderful remodeled home.

How You Can Use the Law of Attraction For Your Current Home

You can use the Law of Attraction to not only improve your current home, but also to get a new home if you want.  Start being grateful for what you already have, and decide exactly what you want.  Believe that you will get what you want or something better.  If you hate how messy your home always is, stop focussing on that and start saying things like, "I am grateful for this space right here that's clean, clear, organized, and open" or "I'm grateful that I have space to read on the couch" or whatever small things you can find to be grateful for.  This attitude will attract more areas of order and cleanliness into your home, whether you are the one to take care of it or someone else.  Remember when it comes to clutter... when you hold on to things that you really don't use much (the pack-rat mentality) you are telling yourself you're afraid to let go of what you have because you don't think you can have it again - and this will prevent new good things from coming into your life.  Clinging to anything or anyone is nothing more than fear... setting things free is feeling secure with where you are and that they those things will either stay with you or come back to you or something better will come into your life.

How You Can Use the Law of Attraction For a New Home

If you want a new home, or a bigger home, start saying, "I am grateful for this roof over my head and the unlimited space I have access to" or whatever you are grateful for.  Decide what kind or size of home you want and stay focused on the fact that you will get that or something better.  Start looking at pictures of houses for sale or just beautiful homes, and start going to open houses - this will put your mind in the right mindset - that you are serious about wanting and having a new and better home.  Don't focus on price or how you will make it happen, just focus on what you want and that it's already started to happen for you.  Enjoy the open house knowing that even though you don't plan to make an offer right this second, you are in the process of shopping for your next home.  In this way, you will be using the Law of Attraction, that like attracts like, by shopping for your new house, you will attract the house you want.
