I was abused by a man ,sexually,emotionally,mentally and finanacially but I did not realize it till the end when he broke with me. I was committed but he was not.I am 52 and he is 69. He made me fall in love with him. He used me for his lust and trained me to live with him without marriage. I tried my level best ,forgot GOd and made him my god .But he was not happy. And I signed his PNA but he was not happy and made exuses for not marrying me.

Thank you for sharing your story... there are so many people that have gone through or are going through something very similar.  I posted some thoughts on forgiveness that might help you:  http://goodkarma.org/node/227.  The most valuable thing you can do to recover from the break up and abuse is something that may be very difficult, but at the same time is the most empowering thing you can ever do and once you do it, your life will never be the same - if you can do this one thing, your life will be forever better. 

Take responsibility for your life, your actions, your choices, and your emotions.  You can choose to feel taken advantage of by someone else and powerless over the situation, or you can choose to say, "everyday I made the (conscious or unconscious) choice to stay with someone who was unhappy, unkind, and lowered my quality of life - I made that choice... it may not have been the best choice at the time, or maybe it was... either way, I chose it.  I always have choices, even if I don't recognize them right away, and from now on I will look for more and better choices.  Now I have learned and become stronger and smarter, and I can choose whatever I want from this point on.  Even when my situation is not the best, I have the power to see the good in the situation or the bad... and my happiness or unhappiness is based on what I choose to focus on and process - the good in life or the bad - because there will always be both, and it is my choice to focus on and feel what I want.  I can choose to continue to hold onto pain from the past or I can choose to release myself from negative feelings and choose to ground myself in the present day and look for the good in today.  I choose only to have good people in my life who support me and only want the best for me.  Everything in my life is a choice and it always has been, but now that I realize it, my life will be filled with love, joy, happiness, bliss, and a deeper understanding of life."

If you can take responsibility for all of your life - all of your choices, past and present, then you can do anything you want with your life - you can take yourself in any direction you desire and experience happiness every single day for the rest of your life.  Just as there are rich people who are happy and rich people who are unhappy, there are poor people who are happy and poor people who are unhappy - because it is not our circumstances that define our happiness or our emotions - it is how we choose to process these outside circumstances that we either choose to feel happy or unhappy.  If you truly want to feel happy, choose to be happy - choose to dwell on the good things in your life and choose to let go of the bad things.

Right now the best thing you can do to help yourself, to regain your feeling of self worth and to know that you are valued and special (something it seems like you have forgotten) is to get out there and help people who really need it. Choose an organization that does worthy work, and give some of your time to them. Soon you will be focusing on your new life, and the possabilties that lie ahead, while helping to give others that same chance.

Remeber, no man can use you or abuse you unless you let him. It is for the best that you did not marry this man, I think. Look to your future, and to helping others and soon you will be strong enough to see that you dont need this man to be happy. You can help to make your own happiness, and other peoples and that is an amazing feeling.

I too struggle with financial issues. The thing to remember is that your self-worth is not determined by your income. Many great people throughout history have been impoverished or poor. Money is the creation of man, we are the creation of something much more divine. When the man is at your door or on your phone, realize his drive for your money is his need for money; his need to solve his financial problems. When we focus our minds on divinity we realize that our only needs are faith. That we too help to create and maintain the cycle, by wishing for riches when we have again alowed ourselves to not feel good enough in comparison to the tings we see of monetary value. When you are alone, do you want money or man?

Along similar lines (efforts to raise awareness) but perhaps in the category of amusing and novel oddities is the Buddhabot at buddhabot.blogspot.com or buddhabots.com (or just google buddhabot) and more recently godsbot at godsbot.org. The purported purpose of these two robot is to spread constructive dialogue or perhaps draw attention to that which is enlightening and enlivening. Buddhabot is the more mature of the two but godsbot at godsbot.org is free.

For every struggle there is a pay off. For example, the price of gas is high. People are adapting and finding creative ways to deal with it. Suppose you ride your bike to the supermarket..... You'd not only save money on gas but also on groceries as you'd buy only what you need and can carry on your bike.

How about getting fit while you save on fuel by walking more rather than driving to places that are close by.  Best of all you could stay home and have a profitable win/win Internet biz by getting yourself a F R E E on line shopping mall,
