I want to take a moment to give thanks for my family and friends and wish them all a lifetime of happiness, love, and bliss... for everyone, I wish abundance and personal happiness.  I wish M. wealth in every aspect of the word - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and financially, because I know she wants most to serve others and I know she can do that best when her life is in balance and harmony.  I wish C. true love, happiness, and the self-confidence to go after what she wants in life.  I wish E. pure happiness and the freedom to explore the world and her inner self.  I wish C.  read more »

The movie, "The Secret," and its supporters, in addition to many other self-help gurus and modern psychologists encourage writing in a journal to help create the life you desire and guide you in setting and achieving your goals.  Journaling is a general process that can involve several different, specific techniques.  Your journaling can be as flexible or structured as you like.  One of the most important parts about journaling is that you enjoy the process and you experience the positive feelings about what you write, so that it feels as though you're actually experiencing what you're writing about.  You can use any or all of the journaling techniques; you may find one or two techniques that specifically work best for you.  read more »

Be happy now!

I often hear people say that they will be happy WHEN _________ happens. They say things like "I will be happy when I have more money" or "I will be happy when I get promoted" or "I will be happy when I find someone" or "I will be happy when this person stops treating me so poorly." The common denomenator here is that their happiness is dependent upon some outside circumstance. What they don't realize is that happiness has nothing to do with outside circumstances...happiness is simply a choice that we make every moment of the day.  read more »
